These chocolate bonbon type sweet taste as if they took hours to prepare. If you place each Amaretoo Fudge ball into a small holiday crinkle paper cup and fill a small decorative tin they would make a very special gift. The cherry center is a delicious surprise! – Susan Maria

Servings: 14 Candies

Ingredients:

  • One 6 ½ ounce package Murray Sugar Free Double Fudge cookies
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • ½ cup Splenda granular
  • 2 tablespoons Joseph’s Original Sugar Free Maple Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Amaretto
  • 12 maraschino cherries, stem removed and dried with a paper towel

Directions:

  1. In a food processor pulse cookies, walnuts, and Splenda until finely ground.
  2. Add syrup and Amaretto then pulse into mixture until it is well blended and texture resembles moist sand.
  3. Form mixture into twelve, one tablespoon balls by gently pressing.
  4. Press your fingertips into the chocolate ball to create a hole for the cherry. Pop in the cherry, and press mixture around cherry to seal it.
  5. Roll in very finely chopped walnuts.
  6. Store in an airtight container
